Raijiv Gandhi Bhawan is located on the cart road near lift. It is the Party office of HP State Congress Committee. It has five floors, lower three floors are party offices & meeting room. Third floor is Conference hall to accommodate large gatherings. Fourth floor at road level is parking floor.
The foundation stone of Rajiv Gandhi bhawan was laid by party president of Indian National Congress, Smt. Sonia Gandhi. The construction of building was completed in year 2008 by contractor PK Sood & Co. The exterior of building is stone wash paint.
Green roof scape of building from higher elevations is appealing. The Structure of Conference hall is RCC Slab resting over steel trusses to eliminate central columns. All floors are connected by stairway & lift. Wide corridors on each floor give the grand look to interior.
