Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam ltd. ( SJVNL formerly Nathpa Jhakri Power Corporation) is Power Sector Schedule ‘A’ Mini Ratna Public Sector undertaking , working currently in Hydropower Sector. It is joint venture between the Govt. of India & Govt. of Himachal Pradesh. The Flagship 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station was commissioned in 2003-04. This Building is the corporate office of SJVNL at Jhakri, Rampur Bushahar. Different hierarchy of officers & staff has been accommodated in proper order. The exterior of building exhibit the traditional katha-kuni style of architecture. Two courtyards are formed on valley side. These fully green and properly landscaped courtyards are visible from almost all rooms and corridors. The form of building is in stepped masses that complements to the natural surroundings of the building.
