The house of Sh. Suresh Thakur is located on the hill top at Nangaldevi near Theog. It offers beautiful views of hills all around. Northern side of the house is decorated with apple orchards. As a common requirement of a joint family residence, clients wanted a huge terrace adjacent to the main building. Entry to the main rooms of the building is through this terrace, as the entry to the building and terrace level happen to match with each other.
The exterior of the residence is cladded with gharsa slate. The house is entered upon through a large porch and there is glass house just above this porch. Initially it was planned as a two storied structure on hill top but subsequently another three storied annexe was added below ground level. The terrace of annexe building is used as for court for two storied house above. This annexe block has been used for family functions like marriages, parties, guest house ets.
