The cottage is located at Fagu, Shimla, near HPTDC hotel The Apple Blossom. The cottage has a beautiful lawn in front & side. Gazebo & Bonfire add to the beauty of the lawn. Servant rooms & parking are placed below lawn level. Entry to the cottage is a grand stair subway without disturbing the lawn area. The entry stair is flanked by circular sky light above.
The exterior of the cottage is cladded with red stone. Compound wall of the complex is in red stone and resembles that of red fort. Other retaining walls below lawn level exhibit local stone masonry. The climate control of the cottage is very efficient. Being a very cold climate, VRV system for climate control is provided. UPVC windows provide efficient insulation between indoor & outdoor climate.
